Federal Judicial Center Publications

Did you know that the Federal Judicial Center (the educational and research arm of the federal judiciary) has a whole slew of publications available electronically on their website? For example, you can find such handy titles as "The Bail Reform Act of 1984, 3d ed." and a "Manual on Recurring Problems in Criminal Trials, 5th ed." You can even get a peek behind the curtain with the "Benchbook for U.S. District Court Judges, 4th ed." Search and browse the whole catalog here. Some titles are also available in limited quantities for distribution to the public, apparently free of charge. (The Bail Reform Act booklet, by the way, is turned out rather handsomely in a green-and-gold cover. Sounds like a great color combination for the next Guidelines Manual, as well.)
